At Kuehne+Nagel's Union City, Georgia location, we are seeking a Contract Logistics Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our Contract Logistics team. The Warehouse Picker/Packer Associate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening, and other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with weekly pay at $19.20 per hour, plus a shift differential.How You Create ImpactEssential Duties and FunctionsComfortable with counting, sorting, and handling small to large partsAbility to operate tools for role such as RF Scanner and Hip PrinterPicking priority orders such as Aircraft on Ground, Transfer of Asset, Panics and Current date ordersEnsure stored location inventory and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damageEffectively understands and marks Delivery note tickets by pick type to support accurate shipmentsAbility to palletize and shrink-wrapComfortable with walking and standing up to 8 hours per day during processing hoursMay be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to (50) poundsEffectively works from pick tickets to pull product or suppliesCan validate orders against Delivery notes by validating part and option numbersIf/when applicable, 'bonded' cargo must be processed and handled accordingly, based on existing guidelines for this type of shipmentDeliver high level of service to customers through accurate order pickingComfortable with walking and standing up to 8 hoursAssist in other departments on a business need basisWhat We Would Like You To BringKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceMinimum Education: High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degreeProven basic math skills at the high school levelComputer skillsSAP and MS (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook) experience is preferred, but not requiredMust be a US citizenWhat's In It For YouThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
